More stuff on heaven

Ive just been reading a few books about heaven and stuff like that and Ive also been thinking about the whole concept of heaven.
If you ask someone/a christian what they think about heaven then they will usually say something about heaven being in the sky, that heaven is in this world,or reaching heaven when you die and only if youre a christian.Well I think differently.I recently read a passage in the bible about there being other worlds than ours.
So what if heaven exists not in this world, but in another maybe and its all around us?Or even better, what if the key to heaven is inside us and we have to discover it ourselves in this lifetime and not the next?Interesting concept, huh?
Now sure I'm a christian, so this may sound kind of wierd coming from me, but I am not an "orthodox" christian.I am a "Gnostic" christian but more about that later.Gnostics believe that through knowledge or "gnosis" (a kind of enlightment) we can discover ourselves and have a relationship with the mystery god(not the tyrant from the bible). And if we achieve this then we have discovered heaven, inside ourselves.
I dont believe that you can achieve this "heaven" in just one life and thats where reincarnation comes in.Unlike christians, we dont believe that when you die thats it and you live in heaven or hell for eternity. We believe that when you die you are reincarnated and in your next life you travel further along the path to achieving gnosis and "heaven".Gnostics believe in 7 heavens, this world being one of them as well as hell being one too.We believe that if you die without receiving Gnosis then, depending on where you are on your spiritual path , you will go to 1 of 5 heavens for a short period of time. And this also brings in what I said before about different worlds/dimensions.
Once youve achieved Gnosis and have this so called "key to heaven", Gnostics believe that you will finally go to the 7th and highest heaven to live with The "Mystery God" and Sophia the wisdom Goddess.
It all sounds really complicated and you probably wont understand this if youve never heard anything like this before but, there you go.
